Dr. Sabahat S. Azim, the Founder and Managing Director of Glocal Healthcare Systems is a medical doctor, an ex-Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of 2000 batch and an entrepreneur. He successfully set up a pan India rural ICT Venture in the year 2007 before establishing Glocal Healthcare in the year 2010. Dr. Azim was invited by the UNESCO to deliver a keynote address on e-Health at the WSIS Forum 2009, at the ITU Headquarters, Geneva, Switzerland. His innovation of ‘Hellolyf,’ Apps for patients & Doctors supported by Hellolyf CX (UV light / IoT based Sterilized non-contact screening chambers) has been highly appreciated as a big support to the Pandemic COVID-19 not only in India but in African countries as well. This brought him the Public Appreciation Award 2020 by UN Innovation at the Health Innovation Exchange 2020 as the most innovative technology to meet the Sustainable Development Goals of UN. Dr. Azim has also been declared Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2020 by the World Economic Forum’s Schwab Foundation for Social Enterprise.
